nifty

I know what you're thinking, "sweet moses she took her sweet arse time posting this" and you'd be right, i have taken far too much time out of the blogging world. I haven't become bored of blogging or anything, like many bloggers at the moment, i've been mounting my uni work and revision like a dog's first meeting with a giant cuddly toy only without the erotic undertones. So the shirts featured above are the latest additions to the thrifted section of my wardrobe, i can't remember which charity shop they were from, but it was in wrexham. I'm not supposed to be spending money because i'm going away for the summer and i have a stupidly small amount of money saved, but i couldn't resist the 'saved by the bell'-esque-ness and they were obviously a steal. I loves them.

NEW YOOOOOOORRK. Yes, my flights are booked for the 14th of june and i'm coming back on the 9th of september, which means that it's 34 days until i climb into a tin can and am catapulted across the atlantic. I have NO apartment or job, although i have applied for 78 apartments today and bunch of boutique jobs, but i'm so excited it's untrue. I just wanna get there and live the new yorker life.

Hope you're all dandy, what was up with the blogger downtime, huh? Weird. I have a few blogposts lined up for this week, one about my new raybans, and a few outfit posts. HURRAH.

I apologise for the terrible lighting and stupid poses, i still haven't gotten the hang of taking my photo yet, but don't think i pose this twattish "coz i thnk i iz lyk well fit bbz" it was by accident. Anyway quickie outfit post today, although i didn't actually wear this today, i wore it the friday just gone (when it was ridiculously hot) to drive down to london. My almost better half was moving back to wallasey after a decent shot at big city life, lasting about eight months, and i was helping his arse move all of his stuff back. When i arrived in our capital after a rough as hell drive, jack didn't really get the whole 'underwear as outerwear' thing, which lead to a resounding "i can't believe you're just wearing a bra, why are you just wearing a bra?" (i tried explaining it was a bralette many-a-times, but to no avail) further discrediting his opinion on women's fashion (lu really, jack). I didn't just wear this by the wizzle, i wore a denim jacket over it, through sheer terror that one of the twins would try and make a guest appearance.

So, do you like? Or do you think that 'underwear as outerwear' should be reserved for the lesser endowed and skinnier? tweet me or formspring me.

*waves frantically*

I'm back you bunch of love muffins. In my last post i mentioned about some woman deciding she was too cool to stop at a junction and leaving me with serious head injuries, i took a break from blogging because i felt constantly hung over for the week following it and totally uninspired, i'd rather not blog atall than do half-arsed posts. Last night however, my inspiration returned, in the form of painting my costume jewellery with nailvarnish. Yes, you read right, i had tons of jewellery i'd bought in the winter which needed 'summering' up. Thought i'd share, after all, sharing is caring.

tacky red and gold heart

I didn't anticipate putting this on voodle so i didn't take a before photo, but i bought it a while ago for a quid in primark and wore it backwards so just the plain gold side was showing, it did the job. Here's the bastard after i painted it:

So there you have my DIY tip, if you don't like the colour of something, use nail varnish to change that! There's probably uber creatives out there that know a better way to do that jazz, but i was bored and have a million nail varnishes et voila, i'm a modern day picasso (LIE).

Also, if you have any questions or anything, just pop on over to my formspring or tweet me.

Good to be back

stand with me and tell me it'll all be okay

This is a post, to apologise for my lack of blogging at the moment, it is unfortunately for a good reason and may continue for the rest of this week. I was involved in a serious car crash on monday, my car was written off and i'm currently suffering from serious - and gross looking - head injuries, i can't really look at my laptop screen for too long without getting a headache. IT PROPER SUCKS ASS.

Gross, right? That's just the minor cuts on my forehead from smashing into my rear-view mirror.

Those of you little munchkins who follow me on twitter will know i've been contemplating dying my hair the past coupl'a days, which i've never done before, so i was really putting some thought into it. It was on the way to buy said hair dye that my little car did some ballroom dancing with a micra, it was totally the other woman's fault, she almost killed me and the police are having a stern talk with her and she may lose her license - GOOD! Maybe i really wouldn't of suited dying my hair, bit of a drastic way to stop me though, turning my suziki into a moving rattle.

Anyway, i just thought i should let you all know that i've not been kidnapped or fallen down the toilet, i'm just a little down, sore and frightened at the moment.

There's just nothing like seeing your death, i was seconds away from it, i could feel it. I'm still expecting some sort of epiphany, to wake up, jump out of bed and grab life by the swingers. I thought it would've happened already but all i've done is think about how it would've turned out if the oncoming lorry, which near missed me, had been passing the junction a few seconds earlier and it knocks me sick.

Sorry for the downer post folks, i'll be back on form soon, pissing everyone off with my sarcasm and it'll be regal.

Peace

Hello little ones, i need your glorious help, in finding something pretty as i have yet to spend my ASOS vouchers. Now i love ASOS, i think it's excellent quality for money, but there's so much stuff that it's hard to look for something i want without feeling like i'm missing something. Like it's totally different when i see something i need and just buy it, to when i'm given money to look for something to spend it on, it's like a whole different ball game. So i've narrowed it down to a bunch of things, i have £40 to spend, please help amigos.

So they're my favourite things i need, rather than just want, which is constructive i think. Which one is your fave? Arrrrggghhhh seriously struggling on what to get init.

they call her love

Yesterday was sunny, so everyone probably noticed, so i made the most of it and did a load of stuff and took a bunch of photos. Here are a few of my faves:

I have a load of blog posts planned over the next couple of days, now that my netbook is fixed, i can upload pictures again - YAY.

It's my birthday night out in my home town this friday and saturday, i get to see all my friends and wear my new feet huggers - i'm going for sheer ankle socks and a playsuit - drink lots of birthday vino and throw some sick shapes in heebie's and bumper.

I know some of you may have noticed the absence of say my name sunday, which i apologise for, but i had so much stuff to do and i didn't want the quality to slack so i'm making it a monthly thing; first sunday of every month. HURRAH.

Hope everyone enjoyed the sunshine, i know i did, rolling around with the honey bees.

Stay classy

This post is dedicated to my new feet huggers, they will sleep in my bed with me, they will come to new york with me, they are my new best friends. My mum asked me what i wanted for my birthday (8th march, plenty of time to do your emma shopping), i hot footed it to the nearest topshop, where i was seduced by these wisteria wedged suede crossovers. Down to £60 from £95, how could i not, i folded like an old playing card.
